Member Profile

The Top of the South Branch of the New Zealand Society of Authors

Sue Perkins

Sue has travelled the world with her husband. Based in England they spent two years living in Kuwait before the troubles started and soon after their return to Britain they emigrated to New Zealand. Her working life has been spent mainly in insurance, but her hobby of computer graphics came to the fore when they moved to Marlborough and she obtained a job doing display adverts for a local trade paper.

Romance, fantasy romance for adults and young adults, and fantasy for nine to twelve year olds are Sue's writing areas. Since her first novel was published in 2007 she has had over thirty books published, both in e-book and print. Sue self-publishes her books and in the near future will start using a pen name to release a fantasy book. This name will be advertised when the website is ready. Her children's books will continue under the name Sue Perkins.

Now based in Stoke, Sue has written an epic fantasy novel set in an alternate world, but will need to edit this before it is published under her new pen name.

Listen here to her interview on the Top Writers Radio Show on Fresh FM in
May 2016.
