The Top of the South Branch ​of ​the ​New Zealand Society of Authors


Kate Shaw

Kate is an indie author primarily a novelist, with the final novel in her Danton Bay urban-fantasy trilogy published this year.

Her short stories, and those of seven other fantasy writers from Australasia, have been published in the Down Under Fantasy Anthology.

She has also been persuaded to try her hand at scriptwriting. In 2020 she co-wrote her first short play. St Brigid’s Eve debuted at the 2020 Nelson Fringe Festival, winning the Best Newcomers award.
